At Dive Magic, we teach divers (and mermaids) of all kinds—whether you’re a beginner looking to take your first plunge or an aspiring PADI Instructor. As Idaho’s #1 dive shop, we’re proud to offer an on-site pool and teach all year, with small, student-centered classes designed to keep learning enjoyable, confidence-building, and fun.

You’ll also be learning with a team that truly loves what we do. With over 80 years of combined teaching experience, our instructors are well-equipped to guide you through your aquatic journey—step by step, skill by skill.

PADI scuba programs—from first-time diver to pro

Scuba training should feel exciting—not overwhelming. Our PADI programs are built to help you progress at a pace that makes sense, with clear coaching and plenty of time to practice.

If you’re brand new, we’ll help you start strong with the fundamentals and the confidence you need to keep going. If you’re continuing your education, we’ll help you build on what you already know and choose your next step with purpose—whether that’s sharpening core skills, growing your experience, or moving toward professional-level training.

We keep our classes small and student-centered so you don’t feel like just another name on a roster. You’ll get the attention you need to learn well and actually enjoy the process.

PADI Mermaid programs—make-believe meets real skills

Delving into the realm of mermaid diving is like straddling the line between reality and fantasy. The enchanting tales of mermaids have captivated our imaginations for centuries, and the allure remains strong even today. From the young to the young at heart, the idea of living as a mermaid is a whimsical dream shared by many.

But with the PADI Mermaid Course, we can turn that dream into a tangible (or nearly tangible) experience.

Through specialized mermaid equipment and costumes, we blend the boundaries between make-believe and reality, offering a glimpse into the captivating world of mermaid culture and diving.

The PADI Mermaid Program consists of three distinct courses:

  • Basic Mermaid
  • Mermaid
  • Advanced Mermaid
